The first International Banking & Finance Research Conference (IBFRC) will take place on October in Morocco

Ibn Zohr University Business School (ENCG Agadir), Rennes School of Business, and the IGR-IAE – University of Rennes 1 are pleased to announce organization of the first International Banking & Finance Research Conference (IBFRC).

The conference will take place in Agadir (Morocco) on 9-10 October 2019. It aims at bringing together scholars from all over the world for exchange of ideas, discussion of recent results within theoretical and applied research in banking and finance related fields.

Jamal Ouenniche, Professor and Chair in Business Analytics at the University of Edinburgh Business School (UK) and Nihat Aktas, Professor of Finance and Chair of Mergers & Acquisitions, WHU Otto Beisheim School of Management, Germany will be part of the keynote speakers.

Submission of manuscripts

Papers (word or pdf files) have to be sent to: ibfrc2019@uiz.ac.ma

Only full papers, including an abstract of no more than 300 words, will be considered. All submissions will go through a blind peer-review process. Therefore, authors’ names and details (affiliations and addresses, including that of co-authors), and email address of the corresponding author should appear on a separate cover page.

Important Dates

  • Submission deadline: 30th June 2019
  • Decision about acceptance: 31st July 2019
  • Early bird registration: 31st August 2019
  • Final regular registration: 15th September 2019
  • Conference: 9 – 10 October 2019.
