Presentation

Rennes SB supports innovation and accompanies project leaders

Encouraging innovation and supporting students as they launch and lead projects is one of Rennes School of Business’s strategic commitments. Here, every student can fulfil their ambitions and enjoy a multidimensional, personalised experience as they explore their creative potential and develop their entrepreneurial strengths.

At Rennes School of Business, being ‘unframed’ means thinking and doing things outside the box. To help us identify and support our students’ entrepreneurial ambitions, we have developed specially adapted educational resources that foster innovation as part of a wider scheme focused on entrepreneurship:

  • The Innostart incubator created in 2014
  • A Master of Science in Innovation & Entrepreneurship (MSc IE) which draws on the expertise of INSA and Rennes School of Business. Students are trained in innovation and entrepreneurial management by developing their own business plans over the course of the programme.

Rennes School of Business is in the Top 10 of the Up2School ranking of business schools 2021 whose start-ups have raised the most funds!

Testimonial

Innostart helps people with ideas to put their project to the test.

Often, our rather idealised vision of being an entrepreneur involves a big idea, a high-tech prototype, a convincing pitch and an injection of cash. The reality is more complex, exploratory and uncertain.

Innostart helps people with ideas to find new challenges, crash-test their project and, most importantly, develop it by learning from hands-on experience. Innostart’s collective, supportive environment enables them to make progress even as they step into the unknown, which is what all entrepreneurial projects entail.
