Creative Voices is a series of interviews with inspiring personalities from the world of business, sport, politics and other fields. They talk about their journey in simplicity and sincerity and share their experiences with young people.
Episode 1
For this first episode, Valérie Sauvage, coach and mentor to entrepreneurs, managers and politicians, welcomes Philippe Douste-Blazy, a French doctor and politician. He shares his experience and advice with young people, future employees, entrepreneurs, creators and business leaders. In particular, he makes the link between medicine and politics: helping others. He also brings his international experience on the notion of failure which differs according to our culture and our country.

« Convinced of the immense destiny that we can all achieve and the potential of each individual, I work daily to bring performance and optimism within all the missions of accompaniment that I deliver in companies, during conferences or coaching sessions with leaders and elected politicians. But it is from the very earliest age when we are still imagining what our careers might become, that it is important to inspire, to evoke those who, before us, wanted to go beyond the accepted way of doing things, thus leaving their mark on our society. The dynamic nature of Rennes School of Business seduced me, and it is with this fantastic School, and for all these students in search of an exceptional life, that I wanted to provide the opportunity to look at the world from a different perspective, encouraging others to ask themselves what we can take away from this advice, from the views of these successful, accomplished and outstanding experts.
The guests have given themselves up wholeheartedly and have given us things to dream about, to emulate and to smile about. In a word, they offer themselves up to us so that we can make the most of their experiences to write our own stories. This search for inspiring personalities, these unforgettable exchanges with individuals who are so often asked for advice, are worth stopping for a few minutes and allowing ourselves a moment to admire and consider the many paths that are open to us. The disappointments also mentioned and recounted will develop your resilience and help arm you to overcome your own obstacles until you reach the heights you aim for. The enthusiasm of all these individuals to pass on their knowledge and reveal certain anecdotes that have never been recounted to any other audience demonstrates the generosity that still exists today and this is also the message we wanted you to understand.
I was free in my choice of guests and I wanted to vary the personalities, along with the worlds and the backgrounds they came from. Some went straight to success, others had to fight before displaying what we know as their most exceptional qualities. I hope to surprise you by offering you a series of encounters that are inspiring, motivating, touching or surprising and, in so doing, reveal the secrets of these great names, giving you the keys to open the doors of the companies and structures they have built.
