The Bachelor in Management (BiM): learn about management in an international environment

The Bachelor in Management at Rennes School of Business is a 3-year programme during which students are exposed to an international and professional environment as they prepare to enter the working world or continue their studies to a master’s level.

The Bachelor in Management is a 3-year bachelor’s degree which aims to provide a solid academic and practical foundation in business management and operations. The programme is designed to enable students to develop their knowledge of subjects related to management and to acquire soft skills, teamwork, interpersonal and linguistic skills through working on practical group projects and business plans.

But what makes the programme so international?

An international campus

With 55%* international students and 95% international professors, Rennes School of Business is one of the most international management schools in France. With more than 70 nationalities on campus, students are surrounded by a host of different languages and cultures from their very first day at the School!

Once a year, Rennes SB hosts its International Fair, an event which is co-organised with the Well’Come Association, and which is an occasion for students to share their cultures while learning about different countries and partner universities around the world through a range of activities, presentations and testimonies from both French and international students.

*This figure represents the ratio of international students to the population present on the Rennes campus and is one element of the multicultural experience.

An international exchange

Giving further international impetus to the programme, all students are required to complete an academic exchange in one of 105 partner universities which are located in 48 countries. Students make their choice of academic exchange during the second year of the programme, taking their first-year academic record into account. Students can choose to complete one or two semesters abroad or to spend a year in one of six partner universities in order to obtain a double degree.

A 100% English track

The programme has a strong international focus with students able to choose between learning in a blend of French and English language, or to select the 100% English track, boosting their linguistic skills from the first year of the programme as part of a class made up of many different nationalities.

Language classes

During the Bachelor in Management, students either learn progressively in English from the first year in the Classic Track or complete the entirety of their studies in English as part of the English Track. On top of studying in English, students complete language classes in a range of different with native teachers using Rennes SB’s Way Up! initiative.
