We are very pleased to welcome Marianne Laigneau, President of the Enedis Group, as a cohort sponsor. This cohort is fortunate to be sponsored by a leading figure who is committed to all the major current issues that are important to our students. Marianne Laigneau is one of the few women to head one of the largest French companies, with more than 40,000 employees, and is very committed to gender equality in companies. A former HR director of the EDF Group, she is the honorary president of the association “Elles bougent”, which encourages women to become engineers and technicians. As head of Enedis and with a solid experience of the energy sector and the central role of the electricity distribution network, both in France and internationally, she is a key player in the energy and environmental transition. A former student of the Ecole Normale Supérieure and the ENA, she will also bring her international outlook, having held several positions in the French diplomatic service abroad,” says Thomas Froehlicher, Director General of Rennes School of Business.
