COVID-19 – Situation at Rennes School of Business

Here is the latest information related to the COVID-19 at Rennes School of Business.

Here is all the latest information related to the COVID-19 pandemic at Rennes School of Business.

Following the latest instructions received from the supervisory authority, the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation (MESRI), the current measures in place on Rennes School of Business’ campuses are as follows:

  • Face-to-face teaching will take place where possible;
  • It is no longer compulsory to wear a mask while on campus and social distancing is no longer obligatory; and
  • Antibacterial gel will continue to be distributed throughout the School.

However, we ask everyone to remain vigilant and to maintain the good practices adopted over the last 2 years. If you have recently been in contact with someone who has COVID-19, please strictly respect the barrier gestures (wearing a mask, social distancing, etc.).

Although it is no longer compulsory, please feel welcome to continue wearing your mask on an individual basis if you feel more comfortable doing so.

In order to keep the COVID-19 pandemic under control, it is essential that we all act responsibly by scrupulously respecting the instructions of the Ministry of Solidarity and Health.

What to do if you have been in contact with someone who has COVID-19?

  • if you are fully vaccinated, or you have been positive for COVID-19 within the last four months, you do not need to self isolate after being in contact with someone that has COVID-19. However, you should take a COVID-19 test on day 2 after being informed by the French health insurance or the person who has tested positive.
  • if you are not fully vaccinated, and you have not tested positive for COVID-19 within the last four months, you should self-isolate for seven days after your last contact with the person who has tested positive for COVID-19. You should then take an RT-PCR test on day 7 of your isolation. If the result is positive, the French health insurance will contact you and you will continue to self-isolate, if your result is negative, you no longer need to self-isolate.
  • isolation is mandatory for positive cases.
