Rennes School of Business and UCLA Ext. offer a double degree

The rise of innovation to train future leaders

Rennes SB is continuing to roll out its 2024-2028 strategic plan and is putting into action its first strategic area: the Unframed Experience, capitalising on a strong use of technology in the service of positive impact. Following the announcement of its partnership with Microsoft, which promises to train all students in generative AI, the School is taking another step forward by adding a leading academic player to its range of partnerships. UCLA Ext. provides high-level training and research in tech-related fields, and helps young people enter the innovative technology industry.

At the heart of technological innovation

This new agreement is also part of an ongoing drive to build programmes with high-level institutions. The double-degree agreement will offer students in the Programme Grande École (accessible after a course of French preparatory classes, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent) a unique opportunity. After spending an academic year in the United States, they will be able to gain professional experience there. Fundamental disciplines such as marketing, finance, entrepreneurship, culture and entertainment management will be taught with an eye to the specific challenges of the Silicon Valley. This immersion will prepare future Unframed Leaders to develop the skills sought after by the American West Coast job market and, more broadly, by the entertainment industry.
