Rennes School of Business renews its AACSB accreditation for the maximum of 5 years
This prestigious accreditation applies to all of the School’s programmes and campuses.
Once again, the AACSB has underlined the excellence of Rennes School of Business by renewing its accreditation for 5 years, the maximum duration. Rennes SB thus remains in the very small circle (1% in the world) of triple-accredited management schools (AACSB, EQUIS, AMBA).
What is AACSB?
Founded in 1916 in the United States, AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) is the oldest international accreditation body for business schools. It rewards business schools for the quality of their management education. This accreditation guarantees academic excellence as well as good student support.
An audit visit conducted from 25 to 27 September 2022
The visit enabled the evaluators to meet with the faculty, administrative teams, students, graduates and partner companies of Rennes School of Business. They discussed the nature and international history of the school, its quality processes, the richness of its programme portfolio, the importance of the student experience, the link between its research centres and local issues and the strategic vision of its governance.
Rennes SB and its entire community is proud to announce the extension of AACSB accreditation for five years, which is committed to the reputation and excellence of our school. The Peer-Review Team’s external view of our institution is invaluable and particularly highlighted the efforts made in research activities, with an incredible performance leading to +247% of A and B publications over the 2017-2021 period. They also appreciated our integration in our territory, the opening of the Paris campus, and the school’s research impact. With a new strategic plan in mind, and buoyed by these positive evaluations and by our entire community, we are more determined than ever to strengthen our distinctive character.
