School -The new “Unframed Campus” of Rennes School of Business

The new “Unframed Campus” of Rennes School of Business

In line with the School’s “Unframed Thinking” motto, in 2021, we’ve given our campus a makeover to encourage our community never to stop thinking outside the box!

Now, more than ever, the world belongs to the open-minded:

At Rennes School of Business, we believe that students should never be locked within an educational framework, but instead, they should be given the tools they need to transcend it. This has given rise to the School’s motto and identity: “Unframed Thinking”.

But don’t just take our word for it! More than a motto, Rennes School of Business wanted to show the world that no one in the Rennes SB community is ever closed inside a frame! The School campuses in both Rennes and Paris have been redesigned with a bold visible framework that runs throughout the campus in the School colours… but the lines never meet, the frame never closes, meaning that our community remains inherently “outside the frame”.

The Unframed Campus in Rennes

Rather than asking, ‘why,’ dare to ask, ‘why not?’

Today, more than ever, we need to work together to build a greener, more sustainable future. Rennes School of Business aims to deploy its Sustainable Development and Corporate Social Responsibility (SD&CSR) policy at all levels and within all activities of the School.

As part of the School’s mission to create a more sustainable environment, On Thursday 20 April 2021, Rennes School of Business welcomed several thousand bees to two new beehives that have been installed on the roof of Building 2, giving new meaning to the phrase ‘Unframed Campus’. The beehives are named after two of the School’s core values, ‘Openness’ and ‘Freedom.’

Furthermore, to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Rennes School of Business in 2021, the School has adopted a new visual identity, which has been specially designed for the occasion, in partnership with the agency La Chose, and which will be used on all communication media in the coming months and displayed on the Rennes campus.

They’re unframed:

These Rennes School of Business students dared to think differently in order to purse their passions:
