The BiM Double Degree with one of our international partner universities

The possibility to spend an academic year abroad, immersed in a new culture and language

The Bachelor in Management is a 3-year bachelor’s degree which aims to provide a solid academic and practical foundation in business management and operations. The programme is designed to enable students to develop knowledge in management subjects and acquire soft skills, teamwork, interpersonal and linguistic skills through working on practical group projects and business plans.

The programme has a strong international focus with students able to choose between learning in a blend of French and English language, or to select the 100% English track, boosting their linguistic skills from the first year of the programme.

Giving further international impetus to the programme, all students are required to complete an academic exchange in one of 105 partner universities which are located in 48 countries. Students make their choice of academic exchange during the second year of the programme, taking their first-year academic record into account. Students can choose to complete one or two semesters abroad or to spend a year in one of six partner universities in order to obtain a double degree.

Why choose a Double Degree?

By choosing to study a Double Degree, students are able to spend an entire academic year abroad, immersed in a completely new culture and language- the best way to learn about life and business in different countries. Students will experience different teaching methods from experienced professors, alongside international students from around the world.

Upon successful completion of the requirements of both institutions during their year abroad, students will graduate with two specialised bachelor’s degrees from different institutions: one from Rennes School of Business and the other from one of our partner universities, giving them a competitive edge in the job market.

Rennes School of Business’ dedicated International Mobility team is available to guide students during the process of choosing the programme and partner university that is best suited to them and remain available to support students throughout their time abroad. Rennes SB has a strong system of international connections and was ranked in the top 25 in the U-multirank student mobility category for the second consecutive year.

Our students tell us more:

We asked Corentin Dreau, who completed the double degree programme between Rennes School of Business and the University of South Australia, what he took away from the experience:
I have always been interested in cultural diversity, particularly in Anglo-Saxon countries. During the IBPM programme at Rennes School of Business, I was lucky enough to fulfil one of my dreams by spending a year studying in Australia in order to obtain a double degree with the University of South Australia in Adelaide. It was an unforgettable and enriching experience that gave me a boost of independence and enabled me to meet exceptional people while discovering a wonderful country with an incredible way of life. This university exchange really accentuated my thirst for discovery and my desire to travel and work around the world.
