Rennes School of Business hosts its annual International Fair… online!

An event to share and learn about the different cultures of our diverse community.

On Thursday 19th November, Rennes School of Business hosted the first virtual edition of its annual International Fair. Over 1300 students logged on to participate in 45 different conferences based on different partner universities, countries and cultures.

Rennes School of Business has an intensely international identity with over 55% of its students and 95% of its Faculty members coming from outside of France. The School also benefits from its network of over 300 partner universities around the world. Students at Rennes SB are surrounded by a strong international presence throughout their studies at the School, from first year to graduation!

Studying abroad

This event is organised in collaboration between the School’s international mobility team and the SENSe department (Student Experience, Network and Services), and is a great opportunity for both Bachelor and Master students to learn more about our partner universities, the possibilities of studying abroad and about some of the interesting cultural differences between countries.

During the fair, students were able to hear from French and international students about their experiences of living in a different country and watch presentations from partner universities to discover more about them. Participative activities were also organised by the Well’Come student association, including games and contests with a chance to win prizes.
During this new online format of the fair, all of the conferences were a hit, attracting between 16 and 195 participants to every event!

The International Fair was a great success. Students from Rennes SB were able to take part in more than 45 presentations from partner universities and hear from their peers about their international experiences with a representation of every continent. During this bleak period, this event allows us to look ahead to a more serene future where students can go abroad and explore!” Elodie St-Yves, Mobility and Céline Dumont, SENSe.
