Exchange – Level 4

Level 4

Students who join the Exchange programme at level 4 attend modules from the first year of the Master in Management and courses dedicated solely to exchange students. They have a large choice of English-taught courses to choose from.

Academic calendar
Fall semester: Beginning of September – End of December
Spring semester: Beginning of January – End of April

Academic requirements: 120 ECTS in Business studies or a minimum of 2 years of undergraduate education in Business for UG Level 4

Language requirements: We require a minimum of B2 level in English except for native English speakers.
All or most of the classes at Rennes SB are conducted in English and students must have sufficient command of the English language to be capable of understanding lessons, making oral presentations, writing reports and completing examinations etc.

Course selection & course offer

Course selection

Rennes School of Business uses the ECTS (European Transfer Credit System). A standard workload is 30 ECTS per semester. Your course choices will depend on your home institution, your personal career plan, the pre-requisites for the course, the availability of the course and your personal schedule.

Students will be contacted by email in June (fall semester) and November (spring semester) in order to choose their courses.

For this specific programme:

For fall semester:

  • minimum 15 ECTS
    1 pack only + at least 1 optional management module
  • and up to 32 ECTS with optional management module
  • maximum 38 ECTS in total with language modules

For spring semester:

  • minimum 15 ECTS
    1 or 2 packs + at least 1 optional management module
  • and up to 30 ECTS with optional management module
  • maximum 36 ECTS in total with language modules

It is NOT possible to select only optional management modules and mix courses from different packs.
NB: 30 ECTS are usually equivalent to 15 US credits or 60 UK credits

Double degree programmes
