Summer Programme: 57 Students From 21 Partner Universities at Rennes SB

The programme included classes on Responsible Management, company visits and city tours

In June, Rennes School of Business hosted not less than 57 international students from all over the world. Coming from 21 of our Partner Universities, the group took part in our Summer Programme on Responsible Management, which stretched over 10 days. Beside classes such as “Responsible Leadership” or “Sustainable Strategy”, participants visited industrial companies in Rennes and Nantes and discovered both cities. A great way to study business while visiting another country!

Students Testimonials: Pawalee and Nattapat

We interviewed two participants from Burapha University in Chonburi, Thailand.

The class here in Rennes was lovely and I really appreciated all the teachers

– Pawalee

My name is Pawalee Boonpok. I come from Chonburi and I work for the Department of Western Languages at Burapha University. I took the Summer Programme courses because I wanted to gain knowledge about business to prepare Business English courses for students in my department. The class here in Rennes was lovely and I really appreciated all the teachers who were responsible for classes, especially Don Minday who worked really hard for the successful programme. Moreover, students had experiences to visit a selected company which was interesting for me. The school also organized a trip for us to visit the beautiful city of Nantes. It was great to meet international students from various countries and we had a wonderful time together.

I really like the way they assigned group works for students to cooperate

– Nattapat

I’m Nattapat Pattana, from Burapha University as well. I hold a Ph.D. in Contemporary Literature and now I’m a lecturer in the Department of Western Languages at my university. I decided to do the Summer Programme to learn some business knowledge and to be able to improve my student’s knowledge as well. Plus, Rennes School of Business is one of the best business schools I have heard about. I like the way you give the opportunity to teachers who are non-native English speakers to instruct the classes. They are knowledgeable and open-minded. They were well-prepared to run the classes and they could manage the class and the activities effectively. Moreover, I really like the way they assigned group works for students to cooperate and to listen to stories from other countries.
