Student associations

At Rennes School of Business, student associations are at the heart of the student experience. Acting as real-life learning laboratories, these associations enable students to manage projects, develop their leadership skills and work in teams in conditions that closely resemble the professional world. With 20 associations and 200 events per year, they offer a unique setting in which to get involved and flourish.

Action-based learning: learning by doing

True to its Unframed Thinking philosophy, Rennes School of Business promotes an immersive educational approach: Learning by Doing. Student associations are ideal places for experiential learning, based on three main areas:

  • Learning by Experimenting: when students join one of the associations;
  • Learning by Serving: when students join a charitable or social association outside the school and commit to carrying out a specific mission;
  • Learning by Innovating: when students make a concrete commitment to an entrepreneurial path or an innovative project supported by the school’s incubator.

This educational model allows Rennes SB students to combine academic excellence with concrete engagement in contexts similar to those of the professional world.
