Exchange – Level 4

Students joining the Level 4 Exchange Programme attend modules from the first year of the Master in Management (MiM) and courses dedicated to exchange students. All courses are taught in English, and students have a wide choice of courses.

Key dates and Requirements

Academic Calendar 

  • Fall Semester: Beginning of September – End of December
  • Spring Semester: Beginning of January – End of April

Admission Requirements 

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

Academic Requirements:

  • 120 ECTS in Business studies or a minimum of 2 years of undergraduate education in Business

Language Requirements:

  • Minimum B2 level in English (except for native speakers).
  • Students should be able to participate in lessons, make presentations, write reports, and complete examinations.

Course Selection and Credit System

Rennes School of Business uses the European Transfer Credit System (ECTS) for smooth credit transfer.

  • Standard Workload: 30 ECTS per semester
  • Course Selection:
  • Based on home institution requirements, career objectives, pre-requisites, availability, and timetable.
  • Email notifications for course selection are sent in June (Fall semester) and November (Spring semester).

Management Modules per Semester:

  • Minimum: 16 ECTS
  • Maximum: 34 ECTS (including optional language modules)

30 ECTS ≈ 15 US credits or 60 UK credits.
