Our Vision

TRAINING UNFRAMED LEADERS FOR A CHANGING WORLD

Rennes School of Business, drawing on its interdisciplinary research, aims to train Unframed Leaders for a changing world, and to become one of the most intercultural, innovative and impactful business schools.

Our Mission

Through its learner-centred approach (Unframed Experience), the uniqueness of its programmes (Unframed Education) and the commitment of its community (Unframed Community), RSB empowers everyone to become an Unframed Leader in a constantly changing world. Drawing on its spirit of Unframed Thinking, its international DNA, its interdisciplinary research and its partnerships, the School works to accelerate innovation in the service of a responsible and sustainable world.

Unframed Experience: personalisation and impact

The student experience is at the heart of the school’s priorities, with clear objectives:

  • Integrating technology to personalise learning.
  • Enhancing the quality of life on the Rennes and Paris campuses.
  • Increasing professional immersion and impactful projects.

Flagship example: The development of educational case studies using AI, in partnership with an EdTech start-up, to promote learning through practice.

Unframed Education: hybridisation and excellence

RSB innovates in its programmes by responding to the emerging needs of the professional world:

  • Massive deployment of skills related to ecological, digital and societal transitions.
  • Integration of interdisciplinary research into teaching.
  • Collaboration with technology leaders such as Microsoft.

Zoom: All students are trained in AI through LinkedIn Learning modules covering the fundamentals, prompt engineering, and AI ethics.

Unframed Community: a school that is an active player in its ecosystem

RSB’s impact is based on the commitment of its entire community:

  • Facilitation of a dynamic network of alumni with an international presence.
  • Close cooperation with local and national businesses.
  • Promotion of social responsibility through concrete projects.

A telling example: Reverse mentoring on cyber risks, where students train local business leaders.

A strong identity: Unframed Thinking as DNA

‘Unframed Thinking’ is not just a slogan, but a profound intellectual stance, born of the school’s cultural heritage. This approach aims to:

  • Promote cognitive agility.
  • Encourage entrepreneurial audacity.
  • Stimulate the creation of shared value.

With this in mind, the school aims to be a catalyst for new ideas, connecting individuals, knowledge and territories.

By combining international openness, pedagogical innovation and regional roots, Rennes School of Business has established its place among the most ambitious and responsible business schools in Europe. Its mission is clear: to train leaders capable of responding to the major challenges of our time with boldness, awareness and creativity.
