Geopolitics, international conflicts, and security issues, including cybersecurity and counterterrorism, energy crises, economic sanctions, and their global implications; cultural sustainability and entrepreneurship.

Dr Thomas Flichy de La Neuville is Professor of Geopolitics at Rennes School of Business. He holds a Ph.D. in Law, is agrégé in History, and studied Persian at INALCO. Previously, he taught at Sciences-Po Bordeaux, École Navale, and École Spéciale Militaire de Saint-Cyr. His research interests include geopolitics, energy crises, sanctions, cybersecurity, and cultural sustainability. He teaches geopolitics and history at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He has published in journals like Review of Business and Economics Studies and authored books including Géopolitique de l’Iran (PUF, 2015) and L’Empire de Bonaparte (DMM, 2021). He serves as a visiting professor at Oxford and the U.S. Naval Academy, and has led international research programs. Flichy de La Neuville has advised on geopolitical issues and is recognized for his work on Iran, China, and Russia.
