The Master in Management (MM) is a two-year postgraduate programme that delivers a high-level general management education with strong international recognition. It leads to the Programme Grande École + Grade de Master and a Level 7 qualification (RNCP 41234) alongside a Master of Science, ensuring graduates meet both academic and professional standards expected by global employers.
Designed for students who want a broad yet flexible business curriculum, the programme combines a rigorous common core with tailored specialisation tracks and international opportunities. Across two years, students build strategic, analytical, and operational capabilities, while shaping their career direction through focused pathways, double degrees, or study abroad options. International students have the option to complete an exchange during the last semester in one of our 330 partner universities. Exchange students will graduate with the Master in Management, but will not earn a Double Degree.

The programme is assessed through two main methods of validation:
At the end of the course and after validation of all programme requirements, the certification is awarded to the participants. If certain modules have not been validated and therefore the credits have not been obtained, the student must take resit examinations to catch up on these credits during the periods provided for this purpose.

What is the Master in Management?

Can students specialise during the programme?
Yes. In Master 1, students choose a track to specialise in a field aligned with their career goals. Each track has its own dedicated content and objectives.
Are there opportunities for double degrees in Master 2?
Yes. Master 2 offers access to double degrees at Rennes SB, available through full-time or work-study master’s formats. Students are invited to consult the dedicated master’s programmes for details.
Can international students study abroad during the programme?
