Studying abroad

At Rennes School of Business, internationalism is a key aspect of teaching, present in the courses and opportunities offered to each student to open their minds to the world and build their future. Thanks to a multicultural environment, teaching in English and an international outlook, RSB prepares talented individuals to thrive in a globalised, complex and constantly changing world.

Studying abroad: an international immersion at the heart of the RSB experience

Two campuses in the heart of Europe

RSB welcomes its students to two campuses, in Rennes and Paris. Upon arrival, students are immersed in an intercultural environment, with more than 100 nationalities represented on the Rennes campus, promoting the development of true cultural intelligence.

100% English-speaking and multilingual teaching

All programmes, from Bachelor’s to Master’s of Science degrees, are taught in English, either entirely or progressively. This linguistic immersion promotes fluency in international exchanges and prepares students for the standards of global organisations. At the same time, students can choose from a range of foreign languages, with options such as Spanish, Chinese, Italian, Russian, Arabic, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese and even French sign language, depending on their programme.

A multicultural community on a daily basis

An international faculty

Nearly 90% of permanent professors are of foreign origin. They bring a diversity of teaching approaches and managerial visions. This richness is reflected in the teaching, projects, practical cases and intellectual openness of the students.

International students welcomed each year

Whether they come for a full programme or an exchange, Rennes School of Business welcomes students from around the world every year, creating a dynamic intercultural learning environment. They can take courses with transferable credits, enrol in a degree programme, or apply for a double degree depending on the agreements with their home university.

A global network of opportunities: 330 partner universities

Rennes SB draws on a network of more than 330 partner universities in over 100 countries. These strategic partnerships enable students to study abroad as part of:

  • an academic exchange (one semester or one year),
  • a double degree,
  • an international certification programme.

International mobility is compulsory for all students at the school. It is an integral part of every course, from Bachelor’s to Master’s degrees, with varying durations depending on the programme.

Rigorous preparation for mobility

The international mobility office provides personalised support: each student is guided by a coordinator specialised in their geographic region (Europe, Asia, North America, etc.), who assists them with:

  • selection of the host university,
  • administrative formalities (visa, insurance, accommodation),
  • cultural and academic integration.

Financial aid to facilitate mobility

To enable everyone to fully enjoy this international experience, RSB offers several financial aid schemes:

  • Erasmus+ grants for exchanges in Europe,
  • regional aid (particularly from the Brittany Region),
  • government grants or grants specific to certain countries,
  • institutional funding depending on the partner programmes.

More information on study funding and grants is available on each programme page.

Devices tailored to each profile

Academic exchanges

Exchange semesters allow students to continue their studies at one of our partner universities while still earning credits at RSB. These exchange periods offer a different educational experience, valuable cultural exposure and enhanced adaptability

Double degrees

Depending on the programme, RSB offers various international double degrees, allowing students to obtain both a French degree and a foreign degree recognised in the host country. This option significantly increases the value of the graduate’s profile, both in France and internationally.

Certified mobility programmes

Some courses include long-term mobility (6 to 12 months) at accredited international institutions. These stays can lead to a certificate or an additional local degree, providing specialisation or recognition abroad.

Events and initiatives to experience international life on campus

The International Day

Every year, RSB organises the International Day, a flagship event that celebrates cultural diversity and provides information on mobility opportunities. The programme includes:

  • partner university stands,
  • student testimonials,
  • practical conferences,
  • multicultural celebrations.

The event is organised in partnership with the Well’Come association, which supports the integration of international students from the moment they arrive.
