Our campuses
Our campuses in Rennes and Paris welcome students in environments conducive to success.
The world is a “global village” where economies are closely interconnected, and political, social, and cultural dimensions are either intricately intertwined or openly conflicting. Our business school addresses these challenges by enabling its students to develop an international profile. Every course or action pursues these goals, and the study of foreign languages is part of that effort. RSB’s programmes are taught in English, but students can also benefit from language courses (English classes and a second foreign language), which are offered within a framework called Way Up!
The Language Office is located on the first floor of Building 1, Rennes Campus (next to the language lab).

Courses for International Students
French as a Foreign Language (FLE) courses are offered to international students: between 24 and 48 hours per semester depending on the programme. Most programmes offer 3 hours of FLE per week (eMBA, Master, PGE2 and MSc).Only the apprenticeship-based MSc programmes operate differently due to the number of weeks spent in the company.
All courses, focused on oral communication, are taught by qualified teachers. An initial placement test assigns students to the appropriate level groups according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) criteria.
Classes, with a maximum of 20 students, are delivered in person.
In addition to the courses, students can take part in French-language activities within the School: phonetics workshops, Francophonie Day, etc.
Additional Courses Outside the Programme
To further support international students, Rennes SB has developed the Académie Diderot. It offers paid courses before the September intake to facilitate students’ integration into the language, the School, and the city of Rennes.
Throughout the year, free activities are offered upon registration: pronunciation workshops, conversation sessions, games.
Each year, the Language Department organises Francophonie Day so that international and French students can meet through a variety of activities.
