Intercultural Management
Penny Harrison is an Assistant Professor of Management. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in French Studies and Linguistics with Psychology from Lancaster University, and a Master in Business Administration from Leeds University Business School. Prior to joining Rennes SB, she was a Business English Communication Trainer in SMEs and larger international firms in the agri-food, legal, pharmaceutical, retail and tourism sectors. She has experience teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level in Communication, Collaborative Intelligence, Cultural Diversity and Human Resource Management. Her research interests revolve around intercultural management and HR trends. Prior to joining academia, she was a Recruitment & Skills Coordinator at the Head Office of a Breton-based industrial firm with subsidiaries based around the world. Her role consisted in recruiting and selecting local and international candidates, onboarding interns, and managing internal and international mobility placements.
