Customised short programmes

It’s also possible to create your own unique, customised short programmes in collaboration with our specialised team. We analyse the specific needs of your institution and students, and design a programme that is customised in terms of language, content, teaching methods, duration, dates, activities, faculty speciality and class size.

Application process

Fee-paying students: students can apply directly by filling out the application form and submitting the required documents. Applications are opened from beginning of January to end of April.

Exchange students (tuition fees waived):

  • Limited places. Availability is on a first-come first-served basis.
  • Nomination by the home institution exchange coordinator
  • Rennes School of Business send the application process by email to the nominated students.
  • Students complete the online application form within the given deadline
  • Rennes School of Business send the Acceptance Letter by email to the accepted students

Who can apply for the summer programmes?

Our summer programmes are open to both undergraduate and postgraduate students from all academic backgrounds. Whether you’re studying business or another field, as long as you’re interested in exploring these areas, you’re welcome to apply!

How to apply for a summer programme?

If you are a student from a Rennes School of Business partner university (exchange student): you will have to contact your home university coordinator who will nominate you for our short programme. Then, RSB will send you the application process by email.
If you are not coming from a RSB partner University (fee-paying student): “click here to APPLY” (application period: from beginning of January to end of April)

What will I gain from participating in a Rennes School of Business summer programme?

You’ll gain practical skills, a deeper understanding of global business practices, experience working in a multicultural environment, and develop adaptability and independence. Plus, you’ll get a taste of French culture, expand your international network, and leave with memories that will last a lifetime!

I don’t speak French, is that a problem?

With over 90 nationalities on campus, Rennes School of Business is the perfect destination for English speakers. All our summer programmes are conducted in English, so you don’t need to know French. Outside the School, you can get by with a few simple phrases like “Bonjour”, “Merci”, “au revoir”,  s’il vous plait”.

Do I have to pay for tuition fees?

A 90€ non-refundable application fee is mandatory for all students registering for one or several summer programmes.
Students coming from RSB partner universities (exchange students) don’t have to pay for tuition fees if they want to attend the following summer programmes: Digital Marketing and Branding / Sustainable Business / Cross-Cultural Management

What about accommodation?

Accommodation is not provided by RSB. Once accepted in our summer programme, we will send to students a list of accommodation options. Students can also find many offers via the following websites : Airbnb and Booking.com.

What is approximatively the student budget to attend a summer programme in Rennes?

Example of budget for 10 days :

  • Accommodation: between 40€ and 95€ per night
  • Transportation downtown Rennes: between 15€ and 20€, more information:
  • Trouver mon tarif | STAR
  • Lunch at school: around 8€ for a 2 course-meal
  • Breakfast and diners (if you cook in your room): 10€ per day

Do students get a certificate of attendance and a transcript of records?

Participating students receive an attendance certificate on the last day of the summer programme.
The transcript of records is delivered approximately one month after the end of the programme. Each programme offers ECTS (European Credit Transfer System) credits, which students be able to transfer to their home institution.

Is Rennes friendly city for students?

Regularly ranked as one of the youngest and most vibrant student cities in France, Rennes welcomes around 70,000 students every year. Locals love to mingle with them in one of the city’s many bars, restaurants and clubs.

What is the weather like in Rennes?

Rennes is located in the northwest of France and has a marine climate. French people usually like to joke about the rainy weather in Brittany… but we only say that to avoid mass tourism on our beautiful sandy beaches in the summer! Life in Rennes

Is it easy to travel from Rennes to other places in France?

Luckily, we have a train station that links Rennes to Paris in just 1h30 by high-speed train. We also have an international airport that travels to numerous destinations in France and Europe.
