Dr Cilem Selin Hazir is an Associate Professor of Management. She earned her Ph.D. in 2014 from the University of Saint-Etienne. Prior to joining Rennes SB, she was a Senior Researcher at the Leibniz Institute of Ecological and Regional Development. Her research interests revolve around knowledge networks, the geography of innovation, and firm dynamics. She has experience teaching classes at different levels (undergraduate, graduate, postgraduate, executive) in strategy, international business, network analysis, and econometrics in France, Turkey, and Germany. She has published in leading journals including Industrial and Corporate Change, Review of International Economics, Papers in Regional Science, The Annals of Regional Science, and Economics of Innovation and New Technology. Prior to joining academia, she worked for several years in the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey on science, technology, and innovation policy.
