Coopetition Strategy & Technological Innovation

Dr André Nemeh is an Associate Professor of Strategy and Innovation at Rennes School of Business. He holds a PhD in Strategic Management from University of Montpellier, France. His research focuses on coopetition strategy, AI/Big Data adoption, and project management, with publications in Technovation, R&D Management, Industrial Marketing Management, Technological Forecasting and Social Change, and IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management. Additionally, he is co-editing a Technovation special issue on “AI and Cooperation: Toward A New Era of Interorganizational Relationships”. With over ten years of teaching experience, he has taught undergraduate, graduate, doctoral, and executive courses in strategy, entrepreneurship, innovation management, and analytics. HeI also supervised one PhD and two DBA theses. Beyond teaching, he has contributed to various institutional missions, including serving as the Director of the AI-Driven Business Research (2020-2025), MSc Innovation and Entrepreneurship Program Manager (2015-2017), participating in start-up pitch competition juries, and engaging in AACSB, EQUIS, and EPAS accreditation committees. Additionally, he is a co-founder of the Regional Observatory of AI and Data Science. In doctoral supervision, he chaired six defenses (four DBA, two PhD) and examined eight theses (five DBA, three PhD. The doctoral candidates explore AI, strategy, and business innovation, with topics spanning machine learning, firm competitiveness, and organizational routines. Among his awards are CEFAG Fellowship and French Syrian Excellence Scholarship.
