Dr Laura Noval is an Associate Professor of Organizational Behavior at Rennes School of Business and a Visiting Scholar at Imperial College of London, where she previously worked as an Assistant Professor. Laura was recognized as one of the Top 40 under 40 business professors across the world by Poets&Quants in 2020. Her research interests lie within the fields of Organizational Behavior, with a strong focus on the exploration of emotions & emotion regulation, goal setting and goal pursuit, as well as mindfulness and self-distancing. This research has been published in various outlets, including Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes (OBHDP), Journal of Business Ethics, Organizational Dynamics, and Group and Organization Management. Laura also received the Best Dissertation Award at the Society of Business Ethics for her PhD studies, which she obtained at the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU Vienna). Before becoming an academic, Laura had obtained extensive international professional experience in Argentina, the United States, France, Austria and Germany, reason for why she speaks five languages.
