Tipu Sultan Durrani is Head of the Accounting and Finance Department at Rennes School of Business. He has over 22 years of international experience in accounting, financial services, private equity, derivatives, and risk management, with leadership roles across Europe, the Middle East, South Asia, and the UK. He holds an EMBA in Finance from Rennes SB and has worked in banking, asset management, and professional services. His teaching focuses on financial accounting, corporate finance, private equity, and derivatives. His research interests focus on International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and their practical implementation in real-world industry cases.
