Dr Qi Zhang is an Assistant Professor of Management and Strategy at Rennes School of Business. She earned her Ph.D. in Innovation Management from Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University of Rotterdam, the Netherlands.

She studies how people evaluate innovative ideas, communicate them, and mobilize social capital to secure support. Her work explains how individuals extract and integrate environmental cues to forecast success, persuade stakeholders, and build coalitions for innovation. This research helps individuals and organizations improve decision quality under uncertainty and accelerate innovation.

She has experiences teaching classes at different levels (undergraduate, graduate, postgraduate, part-time PhD, executives) in Mindful Decision Making, Project management, and Research Methods.
