Dr Ozlem Doull is Assistant Professor of Marketing at Rennes School of Business. She earned her Ph.D. in Marketing from the University of Melbourne, Australia, after completing an MBA at Rowan University (USA), an MSc in Computer Science & IT Management in USA, and a Master of Commerce (Marketing) at the University of Melbourne. Prior to joining Rennes SB, she taught at the University of Melbourne as a Lecturer and Tutor, and served as Adjunct Faculty at Rowan University’s Rohrer College of Business. Her research interests revolve around frontline employees, customer service technologies such as AI, innovation, and sustainable products and services. She has experience teaching at undergraduate and master’s levels in B2B marketing and AI in marketing, and in 2025 received the Fondation Nationale pour l’Enseignement de la Gestion des Entreprises (FNEGE/ French Foundation for Management Education) Pedagogical Innovation Certification for her work integrating AI-based experiential learning into user experience and marketing education. She has published in leading journals including Organizational Research Methods, AMS Review, and Frontiers in Psychology, and has contributed chapters to international handbooks on structural equation modeling and customer centricity strategies. She also serves the academic community as a reviewer for top-tier journals such as the Journal of Business Ethics. She has been involved in several international projects on AI-enabled frontline training and service innovation, working closely with AI companies in France and globally. She has presented her research at major international conferences including the Academy of Marketing Association, ANZMAC, EMAC, and AMA SERVSIG. Beyond academia, she contributes to professional and public discourse through articles in Le Monde des Grandes Écoles, London Daily News, and Inkl.com, as well as through interdisciplinary collaborations and podcasts. Prior to entering academia, Dr. Doull worked for more than a decade in industry, gaining experience in marketing communications, supply chain management, and IT roles.
