Dr Sohrab Faramarzi Oghani is an Assistant Professor of Operations and Supply Chain Management at Rennes School of Business, France. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Lille in 2018. He has experience teaching classes at different levels (undergraduate, graduate, postgraduate, executive) in Operations and Supply Chain Management, Advanced Production Systems, Purchasing Management, Business Analytics, and Data Science. His research interests focus on the application of analytical, mathematical, and simulation models, as well as optimization techniques, in operations and supply chain management. He has co-authored several papers published in peer-reviewed journals and holds international patents and case studies. He also served as Head of Department and SCM Master’s Programme Director at Rennes School of Business, and was the Head of the Organizing Committee for the POMS 2023 International Conference held in Paris.
