Two unique back-to-school days under the sign of unity!

On 8 September 2025, the Paris campus of Rennes SB kicked off the festivities for the new academic year. On 11 and 12 September, the Rennes campus took over, bringing together students, teachers and staff for a moment of discovery and conviviality.

New students discovered their school and their programmes, while returning students reconnected with their community.

Discover, integrate and connect

The programme has been designed to promote integration and exchange at all levels:

• With the school : discovery of Bachelor’s, PGE and Master’s programmes, meeting with the language department, scholarship services, academic services and student associations.
• Among students : French workshops, sports activities (Zumba, basketball, table tennis, etc.) and relaxation areas for free exchange.
• With tools : introduction to digital services such as IT, the PumApp platform and the Aloha desk.
• With the world : information on international mobility, reciprocity and language exchanges.
• With the city : presentation of local players such as STAR transport, partner banks, health organisations, CAF, ISIC, Destination Rennes and SNCF.

This comprehensive approach allows each student to quickly find their bearings and feel supported from the very beginning.

Creating opportunities and taking care of yourself

The start of the academic year is also an opportunity to highlight the many opportunities offered by Rennes SB. Services dedicated to entrepreneurship (Innostart), the Alumni network, Rennes SB Foundation scholarships, corporate relations and careers are mobilised to guide students in their academic and professional development.

At the same time, well-being is a central focus. A Wellness Corner offered relaxation techniques and, thanks to a partnership with the École Terrade, teachers and students offered various services such as hairdressing, make-up and beauty advice. This is an original way of reminding students that personal fulfilment is a pillar of academic success.

Being an agent of change

Workshops on inclusion and diversity, student representative participation and the role of ambassadors help to shape an open and responsible community.

On a daily basis, concrete initiatives encourage more sustainable behaviour: reuse, Green IT, budget management, waste sorting and reduction. All these actions are part of a civic-minded and responsible approach.

An urban adventure to bring people together

A highlight of the new academic year, the Urban Adventure invited students to explore the city of Rennes through an interactive team-based trail. Between sports grounds, cultural venues and iconic spaces, participants discovered the richness of their new environment before gathering at the Glaz Arena for a symbolic ceremony. This event perfectly illustrates Rennes SB’s desire to create links between its students, the city and their academic community.

A promising year

Each new academic year marks the beginning of a new chapter, filled with learning, encounters and discoveries. In 2025, Rennes School of Business is making this new academic year a rich and inspiring collective experience.

Thanks to a careful balance between academic discovery, well-being, civic engagement and festivities, the school ensures that everyone – whether newcomers or established students – feels like a full member of a dynamic international community.
