Just a few months after completing his studies at Rennes School of Business, Maxime Kiffel decided to launch his own project. Originally from Bordeaux and a graduate of the MSc in International Finance at Rennes School of Business, he wanted to pursue entrepreneurship rather than a salaried career.
This ambition became a reality in August 2026 with the opening of Poulet Sexy on rue Saint-Malo in Rennes, near Place Sainte-Anne.
The concept centres around the “Krousty”, made with rice, crispy chicken and homemade sauces. Several recipes are available, from the Krousty Classique to the Krousty Curry, as well as a vegetarian goat’s cheese option. The restaurant also offers homemade chicken tenders and a range of takeaway and delivery options.
For Maxime Kiffel, this opening marks the first step in his entrepreneurial journey. Just a few weeks after the launch, the young graduate is already looking ahead and hopes to develop the concept further by opening other locations in the future.
With Poulet Sexy, this Rennes School of Business alumnus has turned his entrepreneurial ambition into a concrete project just a few months after completing his studies, beginning a new professional adventure in the heart of Rennes.
