The CFA Institute Research Challenge is a prestigious annual global competition that connects university students with investment professionals from the CFA® network. The challenge provides students with hands-on mentorship, intensive training in financial analysis and ethics, and the opportunity to apply real-world investment research skills. Participating teams conduct in-depth equity research, produce a professional-level research report, and present their investment recommendations before a panel of industry experts.

Competing against some of the most renowned universities in France, the Rennes School of Business team demonstrated exceptional analytical capability, teamwork, and professionalism throughout the competition. Their Top 5 national ranking reflects the high quality of the School’s MSc in International Finance programme, which emphasizes practical research experience, industry engagement, and global financial expertise.
