Envisioning the business of tomorrow with AI: PGE3 rises to the challenge set by Microsoft

For two weeks, PGE3 ALT RPI students at Rennes School of Business were immersed in the key challenges of generative AI through an immersive hackathon based on a client case study provided by Microsoft. The aim? To draw on their understanding of the generative AI ecosystem to provide practical solutions to business challenges.

A real-world case proposed by Microsoft

Working on a client case proposed by Microsoft, students worked in teams on several business challenges: improving customer experience, optimizing processes and employee performance, financial impact and value creation.

Thanks to a No-Code approach, they were able to focus on the strategic dimensions of the project: identifying needs, assessing the relevance of the solution, creating value and considering the ethical challenges associated with AI.

Developing a skill that has become strategic

This immersive experience gives students the opportunity to tackle challenges similar to those they will encounter in the workplace and develop an essential skill: knowing how to identify and integrate AI applications into a business strategy.

The module was coordinated by Hamid Mazloomi, in close collaboration with Microsoft. At the end of the hackathon, the teams presented their solutions, and the winning team, mentored by Sabria Lagoun, was recognized for its achievement with a certification.

Through this bootcamp, Rennes School of Business continues to pursue its ambition of developing future managers who are able to leverage AI in a strategic, responsible and value-creating way.
