Women in Leadership Conference 2026 at Rennes School of Business

Rennes School of Business hosted the Women in Leadership Conference, bringing together an international community of academics, professionals and policy leaders to explore one of the most pressing challenges facing organisations and society today: gender equality.

The conference offered participants a rich and international programme combining keynote conversations, expert interventions, roundtable discussions, faculty insights and closing remarks. Throughout the day, the event created a space for dialogue between academic perspectives and professional expertise, encouraging nuanced discussions on leadership, inclusion and systemic change.

An event aligned with the school’s mission

This positioning reflects the identity and mission of Rennes School of Business. By fostering discussions on gender equality through both scholarly and practitioner perspectives, the conference illustrated the School’s commitment to inclusion, diversity and responsible leadership.

It also reaffirmed its ambition to prepare learners and leaders capable of understanding complexity, engaging with societal challenges and contributing to meaningful change in their organisations and communities.

The conference featured a distinguished international line-up, including:

  • Elizabeth Broderick AO, Australia’s longest-serving Sex Discrimination Commissioner;
  • Professor Linda Yueh, economist at the University of Oxford and London Business School;
  • Khawar Mumtaz, women’s rights leader and former Chairperson of the National Commission on the Status of Women in Pakistan;
  • Jingru Ma, representing a leading investment bank in Dubai;
  • Lucie Loiseau, entrepreneur specialising in data governance, ethics, fintech and AI strategy;
  • Dr. Sarab Abu-Rabia-Queder, Vice President for Diversity and Inclusion at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev;
  • Hasti Modi, EU Public Policy and Sustainability leader;
  • Claire Léauté, CEO of Suravenir Assurances.

A platform for international dialogue

More broadly, the Women in Leadership Conference 2026 illustrates Rennes School of Business’s ambition to serve as a platform for international dialogue on major contemporary issues. By bringing together scholars, senior practitioners and policy leaders, the School highlights the role of business education in promoting more inclusive, responsible and forward-looking forms of leadership.
