A highly successful first intake for the RSB Digital Business Institute in Foshan

A major milestone has been reached in Rennes School of Business’s international expansion. Following official approval from the Chinese Ministry of Education, the RSB Digital Business Institute – South China Normal University (SCNU) has officially welcomed its inaugural cohort of students to the Foshan campus.

100% enrolment capacity reached

Demonstrating strong student interest and the clear academic appeal of this joint enterprise, 100% of available places were filled for this very first intake across both Bachelor and Master levels.

A celebratory academic milestone

The official opening ceremony took place on 9 September 2026 on SCNU’s Foshan campus, bringing together executive leadership and academic teams from both institutions alongside an enthusiastic student body.

Rennes School of Business was represented on-site by Élodie Huré (Programmes Dean), Viatcheslav Dmitriev (Vice-Dean of the RSB Digital Business Institute), Lu Chen (Head of China Operations), and members of the joint management team.

This joint institute combines the expertise of SCNU and RSB in the digital economy, data, and business management to provide students with a genuinely Franco-Chinese academic experience. By uniting technology and business strategy, the RSB Digital Business Institute reinforces Rennes School of Business’ commitment to preparing agile international leaders equipped for global challenges.
